DPWH Announces Four-Day Repair Schedule for Recto Avenue Starting December 27

·

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has scheduled a four-day repair and maintenance project on Claro M. Recto Avenue in Manila, beginning on December 27. The DPWH-North Manila District Engineering Office announced via social media that the project will focus on fixing the damaged concrete pavement on the westbound side of this key road. The repair work will span a section of 13.5 by six meters on the outermost lane, necessitating the temporary closure of two lanes. The DPWH expects to complete the repairs and reopen the affected lanes by 6 a.m. on December 31. Motorists and commuters should anticipate traffic delays in the area during the repair period. This initiative is part of the DPWH-National Capital Region’s ongoing efforts to maintain national roads, ensuring safe and smooth travel throughout Metro Manila.
