In a robust three-day operation spanning January 21 to 23, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) successfully apprehended 182 wanted individuals across Metro Manila. The operation led to the capture of 72 most wanted persons, 93 other wanted individuals, and 17 from the top ten most wanted list, with arrests distributed across national, district, and station levels, according to NCRPO chief Brig. Gen. Anthony Aberin. The arrested individuals were sought for serious crimes such as murder, rape, robbery, and drug-related offenses. Aberin emphasized the NCRPO’s commitment to pursuing justice, highlighting the effectiveness of their policing strategies which include skilled operations, proactive measures against crime, and strong collaboration with other law enforcement and community groups. He reiterated the NCRPO’s dedication to relentlessly pursuing those with outstanding arrest warrants, ensuring justice for victims and safety for the community. The operation spanned the five districts under NCRPO’s jurisdiction: Manila, Quezon City, Northern, Southern, and Eastern Police Districts.
