In a significant law enforcement operation, two individuals believed to be part of the extremist group Dawlah Islamiya were apprehended on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, in Lanao del Norte province. The operation, which involved several police units, resulted in the capture of a 21-year-old man known as ‘Ali,’ who was the second most wanted suspect in the region, along with his 17-year-old accomplice, both local residents.
