Cebu Province is set to honor its top performers in the 2024 Bar Examinations and Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), recognizing their exceptional achievements and reinforcing the region’s dedication to excellence. Governor Gwendolyn Garcia proudly announced that these high-achieving graduates have brought significant honor and prestige to Cebu.
Governor Garcia emphasized the province’s role in setting high standards of excellence, stating, “Cebu and the Cebuanos continue to lead the way. We set the standard of excellence that is always raised with every achievement.”
In the 2024 Bar Exams, Kyle Christian Tutor from Lapu-Lapu City, a graduate of the University of the Philippines Diliman College of Law, clinched the top spot with an outstanding score of 85.77 percent. Another notable achiever, Johndaniel Hamoy from the University of San Carlos Law School, secured the 14th position with a score of 83.14 percent, further enhancing Cebu’s reputation.
The LET results also highlighted the prowess of Cebu’s graduates, with 40 individuals achieving top ranks. Cebu Normal University (CNU) graduates shone brightly, with Nomel Alyssa Andan and Mary Eloisa Fullo sharing the top position in the Elementary level, and Lara Montebon Tero leading in the Secondary category.
Governor Garcia praised these graduates for their efforts in elevating Cebu’s status as a center of excellence, stating, “There is no limit as you continue to push that bar. Sugbo ang sumbanan (Cebu is the standard).”
