In a series of operations spanning January 22 to 23, law enforcement officers in Davao Region successfully seized illegal drugs worth around PHP1.1 million. The Police Regional Office in Davao Region (PRO-11) executed 25 drug-related operations, leading to the apprehension of 30 suspects. The confiscated drugs included 161.9 grams of shabu and 40.9 grams of dried marijuana leaves. Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete, the director of PRO-11, praised the teams involved for their dedication to the ongoing anti-drug campaign. He emphasized that their efforts are in line with the Philippine National Police’s strategy to intensify anti-drug operations while ensuring a humane and rights-based approach. Additionally, on January 21, PRO-11 conducted 17 operations, resulting in 19 arrests and the seizure of illegal drugs valued at PHP769,082.
