In a move to address housing needs, the Antique provincial government is set to collaborate with Ethan Property Developer on a socialized housing project. This initiative falls under the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) program and aims to construct 1,248 units of housing or condominiums in Barangay San Pedro, located in San Jose de Buenavista, Antique. The project received approval from the Antique Provincial Board during a recent session, empowering Governor Rhodora Cadiao to sign a memorandum of agreement with the developer. Eby Archangel Butiong, Secretary of the Antique Housing Board, highlighted that the project will cater primarily to provincial government employees and individuals from various sectors. Upon completion, priority will be given to 636 applicants, with a majority being employees of the provincial government. The signing of the agreement is slated for next month, with a groundbreaking ceremony to follow shortly after.
