In a significant development for Antique, the groundbreaking ceremony for the PHP1.6-billion Binirayan Village 4PH Towers took place in Barangay San Pedro, San Jose de Buenavista on February 12, 2025. Governor Rhodora Cadiao officiated the event by dropping the time capsule, marking the start of construction for this ambitious project aimed at addressing housing needs within the province.
Governor Cadiao emphasized that the eight-tower complex will be constructed to the highest standards, catering primarily to Antique provincial employees, national government workers, and other eligible members of the Pag-IBIG Fund. The project falls under the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) program, a key initiative of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
The development, which will occupy a two-hectare plot acquired by Ethan Property Development, will not only provide housing but also enhance community living with amenities such as a swimming pool, a clubhouse, and a children’s park. Eby Butiong, the supervising home management specialist from the Antique Provincial Housing and Regulatory Office (PHARO), highlighted that the township concept will include business establishments to meet residents’ daily needs conveniently.
Applications for the housing units are currently available at the PHARO office in San Jose de Buenavista, and interested parties can avail of the units through Pag-IBIG Fund’s housing loan program. The completion and turnover of the units to qualified applicants are scheduled for 2028.
