During the 46th Founding Anniversary of Aurora and the 137th Birth Anniversary of Doña Aurora Aragon-Quezon, House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez reaffirmed his dedication to the province’s growth. Speaking at the Provincial Capitol in Baler on February 19, 2025, Romualdez emphasized that no region should be overlooked in the nation’s developmental journey.
In his address, Romualdez outlined a comprehensive plan for Aurora, which includes enhancing infrastructure, education, healthcare, and agricultural sectors. He promised improvements in road and bridge networks to expedite the transport of agricultural products to markets, and committed to increasing educational opportunities through new schools and scholarships. Additionally, he pledged to strengthen healthcare services, ensuring that families do not have to choose between healthcare and basic necessities.
Romualdez highlighted the importance of extending progress to every corner of the province, from towns to barangays and individual homes. He also honored the legacy of Doña Aurora Aragon-Quezon, urging the community to embody her values of compassion, dignity, and selfless service, which he believes are integral to the spirit of Aurora.
