Frances Louise Cruz, a parent who enrolled her child in Kindergarten at Ibalon Central School, praised the seamless registration process, which allowed her to secure her preferred school for her child. She highlighted the efficiency and ease with which the school provided all necessary requirements. Cruz, who has two children, chose early registration to avoid the usual rush and complications. Similarly, Jenelyn Barbacena registered her child for Grade 7 at Legazpi City National High School, noting that early registration gave her daughter the opportunity to prepare for a special class examination. She appreciated the ample time provided to gather the required documents. Rosalie Arcos from Barangay Gogon registered her child for Grade 11 at Bicol College Senior High School, aiming for a smooth and organized start to the school year. The DepEd reported a total of 223,063 early registrations for the 2025-2024 school year in the Bicol Region. Mayflor Jumamil, head of the DepEd-5 public information unit, confirmed that the registration period ran from January 25 to February 15. Although no extension has been announced, schools typically continue to accept late enrollees. The breakdown of registered students includes 47,636 for Kindergarten, 69,165 for Grade 1, 57,231 for Grade 7, and 49,031 for Grade 11.
