Comelec Unveils Approved Online Campaign Platforms for 2025 Midterm Elections

MANILA – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has made public the initial roster of approved online campaign platforms for the upcoming May 2025 midterm elections, covering 29 senatorial candidates and 85 party-list groups. The announcement was made via a social media update, highlighting that platforms such as Facebook, X (previously known as Twitter), and Instagram have been greenlit for use by candidates and party-list organizations that have met all registration criteria. The decision was formalized under Comelec Minute Resolution No. 25-0167, dated February 7, 2025. Notable senatorial candidates on the list include Adonis Ronaldo Mangampo, Jocelyn Santos Andamo, Paolo Benigno ‘Bam’ Aquino, Ronnel Gondraneos Arambulo, James Patrick Romero Bondoc, Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla Jr., and others like Christopher Lawrence ‘Bong’ Go, Maria Imelda ‘Imee’ Romualdez Marcos, and Francis Ng Tolentino. The complete list of their approved online platforms is accessible on the Comelec’s official website under the section for Approved Online Platforms for Senators. Additionally, the online campaign platforms for 85 party-list organizations, including 4Ps, FPJ Panday Bayanihan, Kabataan, and Ako Padayon, have been approved and can be viewed on the Comelec website under the Approved Online Platforms for Partylist. The campaign period for these national positions commenced on February 11 and will continue until May 10.
