The Commission on Elections (Comelec) in Manila has unveiled the first batch of approved online campaign platforms for the upcoming May 2025 midterm elections. This list includes platforms for 29 senatorial hopefuls and 85 party-list groups. The announcement was made via a social media update, highlighting that platforms such as Facebook, X (previously known as Twitter), and Instagram have been greenlit for those who met the registration criteria. According to Comelec’s statement, the approval was formalized under Comelec Minute Resolution No. 25-0167, dated February 7, 2025. Notable senatorial candidates on the list include Adonis Ronaldo Mangampo, Jocelyn Santos Andamo, Paolo Benigno ‘Bam’ Aquino, and Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla Jr., among others. The complete roster of their approved online platforms is available on the Comelec’s official website under the section for Senators. Similarly, the online campaign platforms for 85 party-list organizations, such as 4Ps, FPJ Panday Bayanihan, and Kabataan, have been approved and can be viewed under the Partylist section on the Comelec website. The campaign period for these national positions started on February 11 and will continue until May 10.
