In a significant anti-drug operation, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) apprehended two individuals and confiscated shabu valued at PHP68 million in Pasay City. The operation took place on Friday, February 7, 2025, and was reported the following day. The suspects, identified by their aliases Aldrich, aged 28, and Rudy, aged 32, were caught during a buy-bust operation at Seaside Boulevard, North Parking, SMBY, Barangay 76 in Pasay City at around 3:30 p.m. The PDEA seized 10 kilograms of suspected shabu along with cellular phones, a vehicle, the money used in the buy-bust, and identification cards from the suspects. Both individuals are set to face charges under Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, at the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.
