Tingog Party-list Expands Reach with 210 Centers Across the Nation

·

In a significant move to enhance accessibility to government aid, Tingog Party-list has successfully established 210 centers throughout the country over the last three years. This initiative was highlighted during the opening of the three-day Tingog Summit 2025 at the Leyte Convention Center in Palo, Leyte. Representative Jude Acidre of the party-list emphasized the importance of these centers, stating that they are more than mere offices; they are a commitment to assist those in need. The centers, established in every province with the support of House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez’s office, aim to bring essential services directly to underserved communities.

Tingog Party-list, represented in Congress by Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez, the wife of the Speaker, and Rep. Acidre, focuses on healthcare, economic support, and disaster relief. The party, which has been a part of the House of Representatives since 2019, secured two seats in the 2022 elections. Originally named Tingog Leytehon when founded on October 2, 2012, it rebranded to Tingog Sinirangan, reflecting its broader regional focus. The name ‘Tingog’ is derived from the Waray word for ‘voice,’ symbolizing the party’s mission to represent the voices of the marginalized.
