In a robust effort to combat illegal drug activities, the Davao Region’s police force executed a series of operations spanning January 29 to 30, resulting in the confiscation of drugs valued at PHP1.6 million. The Police Regional Office-11 (PRO-11) announced the successful operations, which led to the arrest of six suspects across six different raids. According to a statement on their official Facebook page, PRO-11 Director Brig. Gen. Leon Victor Rosete highlighted that the operations yielded 237.2 grams of shabu. Rosete stressed the importance of a comprehensive approach to tackling the drug problem, which includes not only stringent law enforcement but also active community involvement, following the directives of Philippine National Police Chief Gen. Rommel Francisco Marbil. He praised the dedication of the PRO-11 team and their collaboration with other law enforcement bodies and the community, emphasizing their ongoing commitment to fostering safer neighborhoods and a drug-free society.
