In a move to bolster professionalism and integrity, police officers from Northern Mindanao gathered at the Police Regional Office-10 (PRO-10) in Cagayan de Oro City for a specialized training session. The two-day event, which commenced on January 28, 2025, at Camp Alagar, focused on Administrative Disciplinary Mechanisms and was inaugurated by Brig. Gen. Cresenciano Landicho, the executive officer of the Philippine National Police’s Directorate for Investigation and Detective Management.

Landicho, addressing 50 administrative police investigators, underscored the necessity of being well-versed in legal frameworks to ensure impartiality and competence in their roles. He highlighted that a thorough understanding of the law not only enhances their credibility but also fortifies the police force’s ability to serve the public effectively.

The training, set to conclude on January 29, also included a refresher on the fundamentals of criminal investigations, aiming to keep the officers updated on the latest laws and policies. This initiative reflects the ongoing commitment of the Philippine National Police to uphold high standards of conduct and efficiency within its ranks.
