In a successful sting operation, agents from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested a 30-year-old man known as Jahid in Quezon City, confiscating 500 grams of shabu valued at PHP3.4 million. The operation took place in Barangay San Bartolome, Novaliches, around 10:25 a.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2025. Jahid, who hails from Barangay 190 in Pasay City, was identified as a high-value target in the drug trade. Alongside the shabu, other non-drug items were also seized during the bust. The suspect now faces charges under Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, as authorities continue their fight against illegal narcotics.
