During the ceremony, a video message from First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos was played, commending The Philippine Star for its new facility, which she described as a milestone in its history and a sign of its ongoing development. Bersamin further noted that the newspaper has documented the country’s path through times of success and challenge with unwavering honesty. The new headquarters of The Philippine Star is situated at the Amvel Business Park in Parañaque City. The event saw the presence of notable figures including Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo, Senator Cynthia Villar, and business magnates such as Tessie Sy-Coson, Hans Sy, Fernando Zobel, Jaime Zobel, and Manny Pangilinan, whose MediaQuest group holds a significant interest in the newspaper.
