In a vibrant celebration of Ilonggo culture, Megaworld unveiled its exclusive Niño Dinagyang warrior dolls on January 22, 2025, in Iloilo City. These dolls, which embody the spirit of the Dinagyang Festival, were introduced at the Iloilo Business Park, marking a significant highlight for festival attendees seeking unique souvenirs.
The dolls, described as essential collectibles, are designed to reflect the dynamic essence of Iloilo’s warrior tribes. According to a statement from Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, these dolls are not just souvenirs but a symbol of the festival’s heart and soul. Karmela Jesena, the general manager of Festive Walk Iloilo, emphasized that the dolls represent the community’s deep devotion to the Santo Niño, showcasing their faith and cultural pride through the Ati warrior costume.
Megaworld is set to enhance the festival experience further by hosting 14 additional events. These include a food festival with over 200 merchants, the Iloilo Business Expo trade fair, various entertainment events featuring celebrities, and a spectacular fireworks display. The company will also serve as the venue for the final judging of the ILOmination Philippine Light Festival and the float parade.
