In a significant reshuffle within the Philippine Air Force (PAF), three major units have been assigned new commanders. The change of command ceremony took place on Monday at Villamor Air Base in Pasay City, as confirmed by PAF spokesperson Col. Ma. Consuelo Castillo in a statement released on Tuesday. The ceremony was overseen by PAF chief Lt. Gen. Arthur Cordura.
During the event, Brig. Gen. Gerould Gagan was appointed as the new Wing Commander of the 15th Strike Wing, taking over from Brig. Gen. Juliano Llarenas. Llarenas, in turn, transitioned to lead the Tactical Operations Wing Southern Luzon (TOWSOL), succeeding Brig. Gen. Pedro Francisco III. Francisco III moved to head the 420th Supply Wing.
Lt. Gen. Cordura praised the outgoing and incoming commanders for their dedication and leadership, highlighting their significant contributions to the ongoing missions of the PAF.
