The ceremony, led by Cesar Cassion, the Regional Director of the Department of Health Caraga (DOH-13), took place in Butuan City on January 13, 2025. These doctors are set to begin their service in various underserved communities across Caraga starting January 22, following a pre-deployment orientation that will conclude on January 17.
The newly inducted doctors include Ivanka Lizbeth Priete, Jade Pajaron Calang, Hazell Mae Dorado, Hanni Bless Linconada, Michelle Pespes, Kathlyn Labiang Rio, Joanny Jaspher Raz, Amygil Falyao, Renz Nicol Sunga, Bless Baltores, Jazel Dulay, and Angelica Llapitan. Their assignments are spread across the region, with two doctors allocated to Agusan del Norte, five to Agusan del Sur, one to Dinagat Islands, and two each to Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur, including the islands of Siargao and Bucas Grande.
