The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) also paid tribute to Rizal, with the AFP honoring his vision through the sacrifices of its personnel and the PNP calling him a beacon of patriotism and intellectual brilliance. Both organizations reaffirmed their commitment to the principles Rizal stood for, with the AFP drawing inspiration from his courage and dedication to progress, and the PNP pledging to uphold the rule of law and protect the rights of Filipinos in honor of Rizal’s memory.
