In a significant law enforcement operation in Caloocan City, authorities arrested a key member of the notorious Alcantara gun-for-hire gang, known as ‘Tomboy’. The arrest took place on Saturday in the Marulas B area of Barangay 36, marking a major victory for the Northern Police District (NPD). ‘Tomboy’, who was on the NPD’s top three most wanted list, faces charges of murder and is implicated in drug trafficking and gun-for-hire activities. The arrest was executed under a no-bail warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 129. Alongside ‘Tomboy’, five others were detained for illegal firearm possession. The police confiscated an arsenal that included a Bushmaster Rifle, two Glock pistols, and a Taurus PT 1911 pistol, along with their ammunition. This operation underscores the ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal networks in the region.
