In a thrilling turn of events, two fortunate individuals from Pampanga and Parañaque City have emerged as the winners of the PHP53 million Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot from the draw held on Tuesday night. The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Wednesday that the winning tickets were sold in Angeles City, Pampanga, and Brgy. BF Homes, Parañaque City. The lucky numbers that led to their windfall were 28-22-04-09-26-19.
The winners have up to one year to collect their share of the PHP53,531,785.80 prize at the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City. To claim their winnings, they must present the winning ticket along with two valid identification cards. It’s worth noting that under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law, any winnings exceeding PHP10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax.
In addition to the jackpot winners, the Super Lotto draw also produced 79 winners who matched five out of the six numbers, each receiving PHP50,000. Another 2,434 players who correctly guessed four numbers will each take home PHP1,200, while 31,508 players who matched three numbers will receive PHP50 each.
The Super Lotto 6/49 is drawn three times a week, on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles encouraged the public to continue supporting the agency’s gaming products, as the revenue generated helps fund essential health initiatives, medical services, and other national charities. The PCSO’s contributions play a crucial role in supporting those in need of medical assistance and providing funds to various government institutions.
