DTI-Cordillera Ensures Stable Supply of Essentials and Noche Buena Items for Christmas

·

The Department of Trade and Industry in the Cordillera Administrative Region (DTI-CAR) has confirmed that there will be a sufficient supply of basic necessities and Noche Buena items throughout the Christmas season. Assistant Director Samuel Gallardo of DTI-CAR announced on Tuesday that the region’s supply of these goods is expected to last between one and two months. He emphasized that the continuous flow of deliveries is facilitated by the region’s well-maintained major roads, ensuring that essential goods reach their destinations without interruption. Gallardo also highlighted that DTI has released a Noche Buena price guide to help consumers, noting that the prices of basic necessities and prime commodities remain stable and generally align with the suggested retail prices. He added that DTI conducts regular price monitoring, not limited to the holiday season, to ensure fairness and stability in the market.
