The community of San Luis, Aurora, celebrated a significant advancement in local healthcare with the opening of the PHP14.7 million San Luis Health Facility in Barangay Bacong on December 12, 2024. The facility, equipped with modern medical amenities, was officially inaugurated, marking a new era of health services for the area.
The health center features a range of facilities including a consultation room, areas for medical records and business operations, a staff room complete with a pantry, rooms for reverse osmosis and reprocessing, three private rooms, a 16-bed station, a hybrid solar panel system, and comprehensive air-conditioning. Additionally, the center includes an emergency reception area, supply storage, and a 120-gallon overhead water tank to ensure smooth operations.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Lone District Representative Rommel Angara alongside Mayor Ariel De Jesus. Angara expressed gratitude towards local officials for their support in bringing the project to fruition. He emphasized the facility’s role in enhancing the health and well-being of San Luis residents, promising continued efforts with local leaders and educators to improve the community.
