MANILA – The Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 has launched a new centralized hub for Transport Network Vehicle Services (TNVS), which is now fully operational, according to the airport’s management.

This hub is designed to cater to metered taxis, Grab, and will soon include services from JoyRide and Angcars.

Introduced just in time for the holiday rush, the facility aims to alleviate curbside congestion and enhance traffic management, as stated by the New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC).

NNIC General Manager Lito Alvarez emphasized the hub’s role in improving the travel experience, stating, “This initiative reflects our dedication to ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable journey for all passengers.”

Situated within the multi-level parking structure, the hub spans 6,000 square meters and features 401 parking spaces, 18 loading zones, and specific lanes for TNVS, complete with various access points.

Since its soft opening on December 5, Grab has been making use of the facility. JoyRide is set to introduce its app-based rides and Super Taxi to the hub starting Tuesday.

Angcars, the four-wheeled service offered by Angkas, will also be available at the hub, as confirmed by the NNIC.

Additionally, the NNIC has set up dedicated lounges next to the parking area where passengers can book rides from Grab, JoyRide, and Angcars without prior arrangements. (PNA)
