MANILA – A significant job fair is scheduled for Friday in Laguna, offering more than 4,000 job opportunities specifically aimed at former employees of Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO). The event will take place at the Activity Center of Ayala Pavilion Mall in Biñan City.

According to Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, the job fair will feature 60 local employers offering a total of 4,383 vacancies. Positions available include production operators, cashiers, sales clerks, warehouse staff, and transportation roles.

DOLE advises all applicants to dress in smart casual attire and to come prepared with an updated resume, a pen, valid identification, and any other necessary pre-employment documents.

This initiative follows similar job fairs organized by DOLE in Parañaque, Pasay, and Makati, which were also designed to assist workers impacted by the shutdown of POGO operations.
