New LTO Extension Office in Tubigon, Bohol Enhances Service Accessibility

·

The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has inaugurated a new extension office in Tubigon, Bohol, aimed at improving service accessibility for residents on the western side of the island. The launch, led by LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Vigor Mendoza II, took place on November 22, 2024, marking a significant step in the government’s efforts to decentralize services.

Mendoza emphasized that the new office would allow local vehicle owners and drivers to process their license and registration applications and renewals without the need to travel to the regional office in Cebu. He highlighted that the office would feature a new registration unit, enabling quicker processing and release of license plates directly in Bohol.

This new facility, the 40th frontline office of LTO-7 and the fourth on Bohol, is designed to handle a variety of transactions, including license and registration renewals. The move is part of a broader strategy to enhance service delivery across the region.

LTO-7 Regional Director Glen Galario also announced plans for another extension office on the eastern side of Bohol, indicating ongoing efforts to further improve service accessibility for all residents of the province.
